MIFA
A Ross Barkley sticker for MIFA 2020 — the charity project filling in the players missing from the World Cup album, one illustrated sticker at a time.
About the Project
My sticker for MIFA 2020. Ross Barkley — who wasn't meant to come out this spooky, but at some point I just went with it. Deeply sinister.
MIFA — Missing In (the) Football Album — started in 2018, an idea to illustrate all 254 players missing from the official World Cup sticker book. Over 200 artists, illustrators and designers took part, each drawing one or two of the missing stickers. It came back in 2019 for the Women's World Cup, and again during COVID, when football was postponed and Fans Supporting Foodbanks were hurting without their matchday collections.
